This was a glorious sunset on the way home from stake council on Tuesday. Prize after prize!

The blessings of the week:
- Testimonies and sacrament twice (KC1 and Riverview). What a glorious way to be a part of the body of Christ! Riverview testimonies rock. Brother Nichols (wears a matching tie and do rag)--my family in Christ. Brother Jaime (newly baptized 20-something Latino) - listening, learning, and feeling peace and love. Brother Woodward (looks like an older leprechaun)- don't freak out if you make mistakes! Welcome to the crowd.
-Burgers here with Ed and Holly Bertrand
-A perfect bike ride and swim with Alan and Griffin
-Watching Eve's excitement about her volleyball camp
-Getting that tree I wanted out of the back yard mostly cut down
-Eve's first voice lesson with Ms. Melodye Moore
-Phone calls with Eliza, Mariah and Wyatt on Tuesday, and Willa, Mariah and her kids, Eliza and Barry on Friday. And Wyatt on Saturday as he was hiking the Y.
-Talking to Mariah as she was getting ready to host Britt's family at her house
-Talking to my dad!
-Talking to Kirsta and Paige!
-Weeding my flower beds. Tiring but glorious.
-Working on my calling. This week I sent SO MANY emails!
-Eve and Annabel giggling together. Griffin and Colby riding bikes all over PV together.
-Our family date to Casa, Loose Park, and a musical our neighbor wrote.
-Watching Eve and Griffin get better at yard work and being outside with a common purpose as a family.
- Seeing and hugging so many friends I love at the baby shower for Benny McKenzie-Cummings!
-Alan vacuuming my car
-A date to Steve Laster's retirement party. Alan works with very good people.
Griffin and I went to the Cedar Creek Library together and I had him stand in this sculpture. His feet were GLOWING and really, really hot. We realized it was a reflective piece that was cooking his toes!
It seemed like a good moment to catch my first Be Real in a long time. For some reason the app won't let me take pictures though!
After the last day of volleyball camp
This was Eve's dinner one day this week. She had to have at least something fresh to get dessert.
The only picture I got at Worlds of Fun. Griffin, Colby and I rode 4 roller coasters and went home.
My true love taking his family on a date. Casa has this cool tile in their entry way. It is a lot of steps up from Salty Iguana, which used to be in that space.
Loved the sunset and the testimonies. Eve's dinner made me laugh. Griff's burning feet made me wince. A new musical and an old building explosion. This was a more full week than it may seem at first glance.
ReplyDeleteThe music teacher has the perfect name. how good a person named Melodye Moore be anything but into music for her profession? I don't know if I got the spelling right, because when I try to make a comment, the blog post disappears. I made a great effort though.
ReplyDeleteYour efforts succeeded! Melodye (not surprisingly) is the daughter of musicians. It's in her blood. And you even spelled it right.
