Spring is just the best in Kansas City!! I drive down the streets exclaiming how I LOVE flowers on trees and the gold green haze of the leaves just barely starting to poke out. That and warmth just really help you feel love from the Creator of all this splendor!
Here are my very best things:
-Teaching CTR 5 in Primary! What a fun thing to substitute teach!
-Hearing from M'Li that Chieko gave birth to the adorable Ronin William Hoki!
-Finishing the heartbreaking end of season 29 of The Bachelor. I have SO MANY thoughts about this.
-The temple. I learn such great things there!
-My dental hygienist hugging me.
-My kids calling me. Mariah and Eliza even called me and they are together this week!
-Ministering to the fanciest lady I know. She has experiences most people don't, like talking to the Quorum of the Twelve. And she doesn't let anyone push her around!
-Preparing for Easter. I am giving up dark chocolate chips for Lent and we hung signs in front of our stake's five church buildings.
-Having great talks with Griffin, Eve and Alan. And also a Portobello Z Man at Joe's KC BBQ.
The worst things aren't even worth mentioning this week. They are still there, but swallowed up in all this joy.

| My true love, founder of the TRP (Toad Relocation Program) |
 |
| We found a new TRP drop off point that seems ideal. |
 |
| We have such a cool mid-century building |
 |
| The Wornall building has unique features too. Kathleen Woffinden and Becky Speakman's dad helped with the architecture on this one. Brother Ritchie. We only knew their mom, Arlene, before she passed away. |

| I love all of these tender faces SO MUCH!!! |
Awe! Your grandkids are kids! Buddy and Juliet are full-blown kids!! I wasn't really ready for that. That happened so fast! Your own two youngest are as beautiful as your spring blooms! (Thank you for sharing them - yours are so spectacular!) Your TRP looks like fun, but also exhausting. I love it that at least TRP happens at a delightful time in the year for walking. Your mother-in-law is such a star! She's very easy to love.
ReplyDeleteYes she IS easy to love! Your comments are always so wonderful Kirsta. Thank you for being a voice of encouragement. That is so like Mom!
DeleteSwallowed up in joy. Perfect mantra!
