Best things this week:
1. Having an amazing, diverse, fun group of friends over for Sunday dinner.
Lunch on Sunday with Q, Ling Ling, Sydney and Jonathan. Jonathan is from Guatemala and treated me like I actually speak Spanish, which is both adorable and kind of terrifying.
| Father and son |
| Daughter and mama |
| My suit and a voluminous blow out. |
| One of my favorite fancy vegan breakfasts. Sweet potato and pear toast. |
2. Successfully becoming a blood donor.
| Giving blood with Rowan and Breeana Hanson |
| Carrie came to help me. I love her. |
| Free socks with donation! |
3. Visiting the Community of Christ church on Mission Rd. that I've always thought would be amazing to go to with some friends from my ward.
| Their Nephi 6:11 is our 3 Nephi 13:33. I just loved seeing all the similarities we share! |
What a fun Sunday lunch and just so you know I'm a little terrified when people think I speak Spanish too :) It seems miraculous that I can ever understand all those words! I love it that you walk as a family in the gloaming. So beautiful. And way to go on giving blood! The socks are cute. It warms my heart that Carrie would be there for you. So dear. And what fun to have friends to visit Community of Christ together. I wish I could have been one of the friends. Why don't we live closer? It's ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteIt IS ridiculous! How can we fix that?!
DeleteThe father and son and the mama with daughter are great photos! I'm so glad you are now a blood donor. Good job.
