Ba De Ya!

Do you remember? It was the 21st day of September.

It has been a good week. We are just trying to not let the lyrics get in the way of our groove here.

I took this for my sisters because, "You know, it be a shame when folks be throwing away a perfectly good white boy like that."

We had a turkey buzzard finishing off a squirrel on our lawn this week! Cool but gross!

Alan trying to find the perfect basketball shoes. These didn't make the cut.

Sending love to Joel during dinner. Pro tip: don't dump all the pico de gallo in your soup if you want the kids to eat it. Alan thinks I should do it again though. Lol!

UV needed extra love this week. I'm not sure why.

Sentry cats on a perfect day.

Guys, Griffin is doing great. He is spending more time on the light side than the dark side these days. Maybe it is because I stopped walking them home from school and instead am making them better snacks.

Midway through our family date. Wrapping up dinner at Meadowbrook and going home to watch the 1961 Freaky Friday with our not so little "littles".

Benediction.

This week was also the Plaza Art Fair (wonderful!) and Fontana street got repaved and we talked to the workers and watched them as they worked in front of our house.

I think you are super smart for helping your young man keep his emotions bottled in until snack time. Then, with good snacks, the emotions can magically transform into something happy. Right? It seems like you have found the perfect combination.

  2. Oh, yay! Those changes that make things better are the best!! Congratulations on finding one. They are true treasures. Griffin is lucky to have such a smart mom. Beautiful outdoor pictures! We are still indoors too much with heat still coming strong. At least in the evenings it's starting to break!
