Moroni talks about miracles as The Book of Mormon wraps up. They are beautiful verses. Our family talked tonight about not discounting small miracles. Sometimes even if things are explainable, they can be full of the Holy Spirit: wonderful and miraculous. That's how I feel about the things we did this week.
We got to go to Memphis and see the people there that we love so much in a gorgeous fall setting. We even saw the house that Evan and Eliza came THIS CLOSE to buying. It is cute, but they decided against it after the inspection. And we got to squish adorable baby legs and cheeks and hopefully not damage her too much when we were in charge of her person! And we are home safely and in time to blog.

Juliet was a really good sport about playing with us, but really, her parents are totally her favorite people. They are such good parents! And hanging out with Eliza, as you know, is one of the most wonderful things ever.

We also got a pretty morning hiking at Burr Oak Woods with friends. It felt pretty wonderful.

ReplyDeleteI’m so so so so glad you came, even though it was a ton of driving for a short trip and we didn’t even buy the house! We’ve just got to get Evan back in the lab soon and all of our troubles will be solved
ReplyDeleteThe bishop’s shoes are very snazzy! Juliet is perfection! Horses, hiking and a hand made rose seem like just the right things for fall. You guys get around and have so much fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a “fun Fall” activity. And the bonus is the wonderful baby you got to hold and love, and of course Evan and Eliza! Just a great gift all around... oh your friend and the horse adventure, what a special trip. We got our first snow..just a bit but a reminder of the season we are going in to. Oh well, no complaints.. I put up with Logan Summers and Winters for getting the wonderful gift of the Spring and the Fall, xo momw
ReplyDeleteYou have really good reasons to head to TN regularly! It looks like Griffin and Eve had a wonderful time aunting and uncling their little baby doll :) Precious times. I think babies always make life seem more miraculous because they are such little miracles themselves. Plus, little Juliet is especially delightful!!
