Hast thou not seen how all thou needest hath been

Granted in what he ordaineth?

I have felt like I need to record how we have been blessed during this time.

-We still got to go on our spring break--Wyatt's last before graduation. That didn't happen for a lot of people. And it was AWESOME!

-Before spring break I went to Costco and bought food, toilet paper and paper towels, which I didn't even think I really needed at the time. And we had extra disinfectant wipes in storage.

-Every time I have gone to the store they have had almost everything I needed. And we have found the things on our list that weren't at the store pretty quickly.

-Willa is home! It's the best!

-Wyatt is home! We are soaking it up while it lasts.

-Alan has had more time at home. It is starting to ramp back up to normal at the hospital, but the church needs have been mercifully few so far.

-St. Luke's was never really stressed for resources and it seems like we have passed the peak number of hospitalizations here.

-When masks were recommended for everyone, I found an old stash of pipe cleaners, which my amazing friend Sharon who is making masks needs for nose molding purposes. I dropped them off at her house and the next day she dropped off a pile of adorable, personalized masks for all of us--even Alan.  She thought if he were going out with us he wouldn't want to use a hospital mask. She is the best!

-We have been able to have the sacrament in our home. And fabulous, short church together.

-We have been able to support another family AND get work done on our house as we hunker.

-We get to be with each other. So many people are alone.

-We are still blessed with really good friends. And we have seen a few from at least 6 feet away this week. Lo, Trina and Claire at parking lot HIGH, the Sheldons on their steps, and the Wheelers and Watkins at Franklin Park.

-It's spring! What a fabulous time to be ordered to stay at home!

There are still a lot of unknowns about the future, but we feel like our needs have been tenderly cared for by a loving God. Our house has felt like a temple many times.
