Grace Shall Be As Your Day

We were back at it this week.  Full time work.  Full time school. Full time having guys work on our house--painting, so we were taped out of the basement where we eat and do laundry--oh and some bedrooms and bathrooms too.  And just in case we thought that was hard, Saturday morning we woke up with tons of snow and no power.

Painting is also hard, it turns out. :)

New duds because we couldn't get to the old ones.

Thank you, Target, for the "super skinny jeans", size 5. She loves them. And at least the length is right!

Meanwhile in Utah, Willa's coat arrived!  And she is so cute and happy about it!

 Here is the wet, heavy snow that stopped Kansas and Missouri in their tracks.

I love these neighbors for coming over to play and make snow forts with Griff and Eve.

We went to the Haughton's house to watch the Chief's game, but their power went out too.  So we came home and used a flashlight to take a few pictures of the walls being painted and reading in bed together.

This is for my sisters, and they better appreciate it!

As we are still without power, we have felt the grace of many friends asking if we are okay, the grace of Alan Wimmer having maintained our generator for the last ten years so we could have heat and a working refrigerator and a couple of light switches that work this weekend, and the grace of people asking us over to eat with them today.  We are using that grace to wend our way with joy.  Pray for KCP&L in their work restoring power to 200,000 people--especially us and our 103 year old neighbor!
