Then I hopped on a plane to Utah! Alan and Wyatt stayed home with G and E. Here were my favorite parts:
-Red Iguana and two sleepovers with Willa.
-Helping my dad sort stuff from the Alpine house with my sisters.
-Lunch and torts class with Eliza. Also cookies and Kon-Mari.
-Having Mariah do my hair and nails and loving her kitties.
-High aerobics with M and E and Ellen.

Church with all my Utah kids and dinner with them and Dad and Marj.
Monday morning I went home to find they had installed countertops! Sing a Hallelujah Chorus!
So fun, mom! I’m so glad you got to come hang out with us. And I’m dying over the kitchen! It looks AMAZING!!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun week you had! Lots of delightful people to play with in Utah. Mariah's cats really are cute. I loved how all the furniture is totally covered. Smarties.
So exciting to come home and see progress on your new kitchen! Your Evie is growing into a gangly girl. No baby fat at all (she was never fantastic at baby fat anyway, I guess!)

That picture window actually does look like a picture. I thought, "Wow. Heather has impressive watercolor skills there." Then, I looked a little closer. Congratulations on the countertops. That has got to feel grrrrreat. I loved seeing you if only fleetingly in Utah.
ReplyDeleteKirsta, I only recently let my kids comment. I think they need to grow up a bit before they do comments that actually do make you feel good! I read Will's and kind of laughed. He is such a dutiful son!
