I could write about any number of things that I've done this week, but I think even better than the best of what I did is finding these gems on my phone. We could talk about:
1. Eve's scandalous selfies. This is one of the more tame naked selfies I found on my phone this week. I've gotta talk to that girl!
2. Reverence in church. If Griff is (relatively) quiet during the sacrament I let him use the drawing app on my iPad. He took it to sit in a different row and used the camera instead, while we had other reverence problems with the teenagers wanting to visit with me instead of letting me listen to the talks. Speaking of talks, Griff gave a talk in Primary today (which he loves) ALL BY HIMSELF. It was adorable, and he had everyone's attention. The noise exploded again right after he said amen.
3. Or we could talk about friends. These cute three were over to play on Tuesday. I invited all three of these siblings and their mom asked if I had been drinking. They were pretty great, actually. It's Hank, Griff's best friend in school, and Wes and Holly, his 3 year old twin brother and sister.
4. Or Easter clothing. I took G and E shopping at Macy's and just bought the outfits they picked out without much thought or question. Each of them only got one small redirect, and then we just bought these and had a small photoshoot. Wyatt was with us for the shopping part and only sighed minimally.

This one was my idea.
My dapper little man. He loved the pocket square.
My sweet little dancer.
What an adventure it is to see the photos on your devices. Easter shopping already! Didn't they do a super job of choosing? It's always exciting to see what the littles have been up to. And I likes hearing that Wyatt sighed only a little.
ReplyDeleteI love all the pictures. I can totally relate to naked children and ones who pick their own outfits and sighing teenagers.
ReplyDeleteThe littles look adorable! I like all the extra details you threw in at the end! You do such good things.
They are definitely into the balance between "work and enjoyment!" I remember it well with my twins! Xo momw
ReplyDeleteMaybe your time with spouse isn't as picture studded, but it's interesting and important.
