Recovery

I can't remember why I was so tired and out of sorts this week.  Probably because we got back from Utah halfway through it.  Here are the highlights:

-I held a BYU Alumni board meeting.  I love seeing and making plans with such very good people.
-Griff, and sort of Eve, started YMCA Bitty Basketball.  Good friend for a coach, cute playing, and a monumentally bad fashion choice for a jersey.  Hence the hesitation from our girl.  Neon yellow? C'mon!
-Church was awesome.  Wyatt spoke about how we can use our time to honor God, Shelley Beatty spoke about Eternal Families, and Ted Reyser spoke about the law of sacrifice. I got to sub for the chorister in Primary with no notice in Jr. and the pianist for Sr. And I still made it to hear part of the RS lesson taught by someone dear I visit teach.
-Amanda stayed with us for most of the week while she was supposed to have a court custody hearing and have her time with Sam.  She brought us to the zoo with her passes.  It was a gorgeous, sunny day.

Sunday evening walk.

  1. Full, full week. I love how the bad fashion choices affect your little Eve. So cute. Is it easy for Wyatt to speak in church? He seems like it would be.

Your littles are sure getting bigger. That picture with Griff's smiley bear face made my day.

  2. Yep! The smily polar bear did it for me too! But I'm a sucker for all the pictures. You doing the music for primary surely brought back some happy memories for me. I loved the way the spirit comes when children sing! I miss you this week even more than most, so this was such a timely post. Love you!!!!

  3. Griff in a tree looks all mysterious and adventurous. That would be a photo contest winner. You have great subject matter.

Heather, what a fun look at a fun day with the littles at the zoo! As you saw in my Whatsapp post we have BEEN HAVING SNOW!! Another.her foot plus! And another 5-6 inches last night! Honest to Pete..if it is the skiers praying for snow I wish they would cut it out...enough is enough! Actually I don't really think it is the skiers as all the snow has car used avalanches in canyons towards the Logan resort and another down Salt Lake way..oh well, as Ali famously said...life is life! ☃xo momw
