A Couple Dozen

Alan and I celebrated the first 24 years of our eternity yesterday.  It was a good day.  We started our date with a nap.  Griff and Eve were supposed to be napping or playing quietly in their room, but they decided to bug Eliza instead (they LOVE to do that), so her babysitting started early.  When we got up, Alan gave me roses (one for each year) and we headed to the temple where we did a few sealings, just to remember those blessings.

After the temple we went to the plaza and got Alan some shoes, ate a wonderful dinner at JJ's with our traditional cheesecake for dessert (a fun, salted caramel iteration this year), walked, checked out Apple watches (decided against them), and checked out the Baldwin KC store.  We got home in time to visit with our big kids and read scriptures together before we went to bed.  Quite satisfactory.

My gift to Alan was a digital version of our wedding video.  I keep wondering if we can give it to someone who can magically make it look cool.  Post-production miracles would need to abound.

  1. That photo of you is better than the engagement pictures. Lots of time to bond shows on the happy faces.
