I left Wednesday night, and arrived in SLC at approximately 7:45. Eliza and Mariah had gotten one of their friends, McCall to drive them, Ellen, and Evan to the airport to pick me up in his sweet red Jeep. (If you were wondering, a Jeep doesn't actually fit that many people).
At BYU, I slept in Eliza's bed the first night, Mariah's bed the second, and Eliza's roommate's bed the other two nights (she was at her aunt's house for the weekend). We had soooooooo much fun! Here's a list of various things we did:
-stayed up until at LEAST 2 or 3 every night
-found a fire pit up a dirt road on the mountain and made a campfire
-went to a couple classes (music, biology, and Book of Mormon)
-met ALL of their friends
-went to a college house party, even though we only stayed for about 5 minutes
-sat in the student section of the BYU football game
-went shopping at the local army surplus store (I had no idea there was such a thing, but you can buy anything from used socks to army patches to throwing stars or even crossbows.)
-took photos in a photo booth, followed by dinner at California Pizza Kitchen
-tried out the Cannon Center
-attended the Provo YSA 109th Ward
-ate great Greek food that we bought out of a truck
-and just partied, you could say.

AHHhhh, the fun of sisters who really really like each other! (And aren't the C U T E?!!!
ReplyDeleteThe dude in the photo booth pics looks like Flynn Ryder in the top shot. I approve.

ReplyDeleteWhat a whirl wind adventure. It is nice that Willa got a taste of college life so young. She knows what to look forward to down the road. What a lucky girl.
ReplyDeleteHeather, what a fun read of "what happened with Willa and the girlies" on their weekend....and a lot did!!! Her descriptions painted word pictures almost as well as her mothers do :) A couple of the "happenings" gave me a bit of a "mother's concern pause" but that is normal. I react the same way whether I am involved in things or just an observer...or even reading about it in a book...or seeing it on the screen. I think I have much too vivid an imagination ! xo-momw
