Eve Wimmer is growing up. At nearly nine months, she outweighs her brother and is taller than him too. She frequently finds herself trapped under chairs these days. It's fun getting there, but then she realizes she doesn't know how to get out and gets concerned. She really wants to learn how to walk, but she flings her legs out in a fairly wobbly fashion and her hips just won't stay still while she tries. Yesterday Willa turned on some music and she started bopping up and down to the beat.
Griffin, although a pound behind his sister in weight, is not a whit behind her in growing up. He will still take a few steps on his own, but usually it is when he is tired and has forgotten that he can't do that yet. A hard fall into the cabinets and a couple of spills down the steps have made him a little more cautious most of the time. Griff loves to feed himself. Some new favorite foods are freeze dried peas and V8 juice. Actually, he'll drink almost anything if it is in a cup. He loves cups--especially without lids.
And Eliza leaves me in less than a week. She is often my most willing help with the babies. Mariah and Willa think I pawn babies off onto my older children all too often.

Oh how I love the updates on your children. These youngest two remind me of how quickly the growth happens that first year. Eve's facial expressions were so delightful! It's so much fun to see their personalities in every little thing they do.
ReplyDeleteThe picture of Eliza feeding baby is quite glamorous...but often the pictures of your older girls are just that way. Such beauties!
Do Mariah and Eliza leave at different times?
ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures! Those little babies of yours are so cute! All of your babies are though!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with kj about your older girls. Glamorous seems to always describe them, I think it is a gift they have.
