School has started here in Kansas. It feels much too soon! Today was the first day that both Willa and Wyatt were gone. And we are at T minus 13 days until Mariah and Eliza leave for BYU. Mariah has already moved out of her room and bequeathed it to Willa. Eliza is on her way to being packed. I have to take more pictures of these beauties before they leave me! (Although I've decided maybe I shouldn't put my face right next to their youthful bloom any more...)

I made Mariah take a break from writing a birthday card for her friend Atlanta to take this.

Eliza and I tried several. None of them were great of both of us at the same time...or really either of us...

Griff's day was full of the usual: yelling at his mom until she does what he wants. It usually works.

We think Eve is talking in baby English these days. We've heard things that sound like "Hi Dad!" "Hi doggy" and "NEED!"

Change is about to make a big impact at your house. I can hardly believe Mariah and Eliza are about to head to college. Keep taking pictures by them you are all beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAnd can I come take fun lessons from you and your family? You guys do it so well!
All of your girls are so lucky to lucky to look so much like you. I can't wait to hear about the fun at college too. You'll have to keep us posted even after they leave.
ReplyDeleteGriff is such a busy boy. Ohmygoodness! I wonder if Eve will end up narrating all of his business as they grow. Such beautiful babies.
I liked Wyatt's signs for Willa. What a guy. 8th grade seems like it's getting up there. What does she say about her teachers? I always like her spot-on summaries.
Kirsta is right. Your beautiful girls all look like you. You have a very thoughtful son. And your babies are growing up much too quickly.
ReplyDeleteHeather, when school starts you know that before you can blink twice it will be Halloween the on top of that Thanksgiving and on top of that Christmas and the year is shot!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI loved sharing the start of it with you none the less. -xoxo- momw
Oh! Oh! Oh! I studied each picture and finally noticed. Is that a bruise on Griffin's forehead? Is that where he crashed into the cabinet? The look in his eyes is entirely too adventuresome for his young body! I think you are in for lots of adventures with this one. Hang on Mommy!
