A Great Blue Heron stopped by our pond this week. It's probably a good thing he didn't stay, because they eat fish. We were just glad to have seen him for the few minutes he was here.
Heather, what a fun pic! And how great that he stayed long enough for you to get it!! There are so many great things about the house you guys found...and its fun yard. I remember thinking "no way" when you said it had a pond on it. The house that started out "great" has only improved with the changes you have made with the great basement space.
That is soooo cool! Who gets Great Blue Herons in their yard?!

ReplyDeleteHe is GORGEOUS. What a lovely picture. Did it make you feel extra blessed to have such a special guest? AND did he eat a fish?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo. Aren't you happy to live in the Garden of Eden?
ReplyDeleteThat is WAY cool! Even better if you kept all of your fish in the process.
ReplyDeleteYou always make your neck of the woods sound so great! And I am sure they are because you are there.
