Our pond has really been a draw for birds lately. I caught this spectacular cardinal taking a bath at the top of our waterfall.
And a pair of mallards stopped by looking like they were house hunting. The female was quite taken until Moses convinced them it was a bad neighborhood.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Dogs are good for chasing things. Faith keeps saying that we need a dog to chase the pigeons away so they don't poop on the pool deck, but I'd rather deal with pigeon poop than dog poop.
ReplyDeleteHeather, I loved the "pond pics" and the "lacrosse" ones too! When you were showing us pics of your house with a "pond" .....I thought how cool it was! The whole house is great too and I know YOU have to clean the pool, but it is still cool. I think of our watching our first lacrosse game when the girls just started playing...I bet they play with much more confidence now. Not knowing the game at all I wasn't able to tell if they were hesitant because it was still quite new to them or if it was part of the strategy of the game...it would be fun to watch them play again
