1912 boy

This is Wyatt on his way to Lanesfield, an old one-room school house that lets you pretend to live in the past.  Because he loves history, he loved this field trip.  He was pleased that his hobo-stick lunch was the only really historically accurate meal there.

By the way, Kirsta, have you noticed how I am posting up a storm?  I am trying to inspire you.

  1. I need more Wyatt. It's a good thing he's not tiny to fit in a pocket because I'd keep him in mine and pull him out to talk to him all day long.

  2. Your Dad is so pleased that Wyatt loves history. That was his major. What was in the lunch that made it authentic?

  3. What was in the lunch?

  4. The lunch had a ham sandwich, an apple, a brownie and almonds. And they were homemade and wrapped in waxed paper, not plastic.

You may or may not have noted that he also tried to dress in period dress too. Those jeans never see the light of day because he usually favors clothes that feel like pajamas--basketball pants and t-shirts are his usual habilement.
