What I didn't know 18 years ago

Well, you could probably fill a library with all the things I didn't know. And several more with all the things I still don't know. But here are a few of the things I found out in the meantime.

-what REALLY tired feels like
-what North Carolina looked like (although I had heard it existed...)
-how grateful I should have been for BYU
-what a hard job teaching high school is
-how much fun it is to tell people you are pregnant with twins
-a lot of the amazing things my body can do
-what a great daddy Alan Wimmer would be
-how in the world people get through medical training
-just how hot 95 degrees and 95% humidity is
-what the entire length of I-10 looks like
-that your newest baby is the best thing you've ever done
-that I could be nicer and more patient than I thought
-just how amazing my parents are
-hundreds of people I now love
-where to look if you seek a pleasant peninsula
-that I really wanted to live in a forested place
-the deep pleasure of having built a life over the course of many years with your most trusted friend

I'm so glad I know now!

Yes! Congratulations on your precious, loving 18 years. Who knew I would also learn about new places...NC, TX, MI, KS. And most exciting, new people I'd love for the rest of my life...Alan, Mariah, Eliza, Willa, Wyatt. (Sigh) It HAS been grand hasn't it?

PS. Where is the video of Wyatt riding a bike? That's why I turned on the computer today.

  3. Eighteen years...already? Some of my fondest memories of your 18 yrs together are:
hot tubbing in Logan & American Towers
Twins only as big as the phone
Willa babysitting Faith...when she was ONE YEAR OLD, and being the first child to change Will's diaper
Wyatt liking me even though I tricked him into thinking I was you
    South Padre Island
    Christmas in Ann Arbor
    And so much more!

I sure love that family you two made together. Good Job and Congratulations on 18 glorious years.
