I watched sports highlights with my husband for a few minutes this weekend. That is the best way for me to watch sports, and probably the best way for most people to hear about our lives. So here are some of the best things that have happened around here this week:
5. We had a fabulous impromptu sacrament meeting. The high council speaker canceled on short notice, so the bishop asked people to think about a hymn that meant a lot to them during the sacrament so they could bear testimony and then we could sing that hymn as a congregation. It was wonderful and could have gone on for hours, but they ended it in a timely fashion.
4. Alan was home on Saturday and we got a lot of work done on our house. It felt great.
3. We stopped working for a while and went to Powell Gardens together to relax and see the dinosaur exhibit. (If you look closely at the picture of Willa and Wyatt you can see the two compsognathus dinosaurs on the log over the river.)

2. The kids all brought home stellar report cards.
1. Wyatt scored a goal in his soccer game! We were astonished and delighted.

Great picture of the dinos (the kids are cute too)...did you realize you have a third one it's right between the rails of the fence. If we ever make it that way I think this will have to be a must stop.
ReplyDeleteI'm so proud of "stellar" report cards. Way to go kids! Hugs, Grandma
